There is no support team and no ticket system — one email address, read by the person who maintains the site.

Replies come when there is time — usually within a few days, and sometimes not at all if the answer is already on one of the pages below. That is the honest version rather than a promised response time nobody can keep.

  • Something is broken

Include your browser and operating system, whether you were on a phone or a desktop, and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps more than a description.

  • Something is wrong on a page

Factual corrections to the guides, the typing advice or the legal pages are the most useful mail this site gets. Point at the page and the sentence.

  • A mode or feature you want

Say what you are trying to practise and why the current modes do not cover it. That is far more useful than a feature name on its own.

What this address is not for

  • Account problems. There are no accounts yet, so there is no password to reset and no subscription to cancel.
  • Recovering lost results. Your history is stored only in your own browser. If you cleared your browser data it is gone, and nobody — including us — has a copy.
  • Verifying a certificate. The verification code on a certificate is generated on your own device and cannot be checked against anything. The terms explain why.

Privacy and legal

Questions about what the site stores are usually answered in full by the privacy policy, which lists every piece of data the site writes and the one case where anything leaves your device. For anything it does not cover, mail the address above and say which section you are asking about.

Before you write

Two questions arrive more than any others. Why is my code typing speed so much lower than my prose speed — because code is dense with shifted symbols, and a thirty to forty percent drop is normal. And how long does touch typing take to learn — a few weeks of short daily sessions to stop looking down, a couple of months to get comfortable. Both are covered properly under Learn.
